Was America's economy really a "hostage worth ransoming?"

I am just touching up on something I was reading from the Coffee Party website a few minutes ago. If the following quote doesn't make you angry then I do not know what to think of your reasoning!

THIS is just sickening!! Wake up Kentucky and vote this piece of shit out of office! Why the American people idly sit by and put up with this is beyond me. These Republicans have taken our jobs from us so let's do them a favor and take away theirs.
